Maidstone United release defender Manny Parry

Wednesday 08th June 2016

MAIDSTONE UNITED boss Jay Saunders has released former Grays Athletic central defender Manny Parry.

The 22-year-old made 46 league and cup appearances in his only season at the club, who sealed promotion into the Vanarama National League at the first attempt last month.

Alongside his playing commitments, Parry also coached at the club’s school holiday clubs at the Gallagher Stadium.

Saunders told www.maidstoneunited.co.uk: “Despite being in the job for five years, decisions like this are never easy.

“Although his time with Maidstone has come to an end, Manny definitely has a good future in the game.

“I know all the lads will join me in wishing him every success wherever he ends up.

“I’d like to thank him for his efforts for the first team and at the soccer schools – he was a very popular character to have around the club.”
