Lovell expecting to take "half a dozen trialists" to Ramsgate

Friday 21st July 2006
Sittingbourne make the short trip to Southwood Stadium tomorrow, tackling Ryman Premier League newcomers Ramsgate in their first pre-season outing, writes Stephen McCartney.

All of last season’s squad have now signed for the Bourne Park club, except for strikers Bradley Spice and Mark Lovell who have left to join Dover Athletic and Gravesend & Northfleet respectively.

Brickies’ boss Steve Lovell is expecting to include half a dozen trailists in his squad for tomorrow’s game.

This will be the Rams’ third game of their pre-season programme and Jim Ward’s boys are currently unbeaten.

Last Saturday they defeated Chatham Town 2-1 and held a young Gillingham side to a goal-less draw last night.

www.kentishfootball.co.uk shall be providing LIVE coverage of the game and will also bring you interviews over the weekend.

Admission prices:
