Wednesday 05th May 2021

K SPORTS begin the search for a new manager after Paul Atkins revealed today that he resigned from the position last week.

The Aylesford based club play in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division but the past two seasons have not been completed owing to the coronavirus health pandemic.

“Last week, I made the decision to step down as first-team manager of K Sports FC, one of the hardest decisions I have made in football,” Atkins posted on his personal Twitter account.

“I have been a player, reserve team manager, chairman and first-team manager and it’s been a challenge.

“Thanks to my coaching staff and the players.”

The club has not made an announcement concerning Atkins’ departure or whom will replace him on its website or social media channels.

The Southern Counties East Football League has confirmed that its Premier Division and First Division 2021-22 campaigns will start on Saturday 31 July 2021, seven days before the Extra Preliminary Round ties in The FA Cup commence.
