Kent League net new sponsor

Monday 05th July 2010

The Kent Football League has tonight announced a new sponsorship agreement with Safety Net Associates, writes Stephen McCartney.

Safety Net Associates are recognised as one of the leading neighbourhood and criminal justice education, training and business consultancies in the UK.

The deal will see the League officially renamed the Safety Net Associates Kent Football League.

Based in Kent, their management team leads a strong team of national expert practitioners, lecturers and consultants.

In a statement, issued to www.kentishfootball.co.uk
this evening, Kent League chairman Denise Richmond said: "We're delighted to welcome Safety Net Associates as our new league sponsors.

"They are a welcome addition to our strong portfolio and we're all looking forward to working closely together to increase their presence in the county.

"It is a particular boost for our clubs given the current economic climate to receive the financial backing of Safety Net Associates."

Mr Trevor Kennett, Chief Executive of Safety Net Associates said: "Safety Net Associates strongly believe in the positive influence that organised sport can have on reducing Anti Social Behaviour and Neighbourhood Nuisance. We are proud of our Kent roots as a Kent based business and support a number of charities and initiatives that promote sport within communities."

Safety Net Associates are already familiar with the Kent League as they are also the main sponsors of Herne Bay, last season’s Kent League runners-up.
