KENT FALLS SILENT AT 1:30pm TO PAY TRIBUTE TO SYKO

Wednesday 12th April 2006

Tuesday 12th April 2005 will go down as the darkest ever day in Kent footballing history – as we lost one of the most popular and much-loved players in the game – Paul Sykes.

Whilst you’re reading this website today, may you join me in a moment’s thought at 1:30pm for Carly and Thomas and everyone whose lives were touched by such a special man.

Can I also remind you that the SYKO CHALLENGE is drawing closer, and takes place at Margate’s Hartsdown Park on Sunday, 30th April.

Over FORTY of Kent’s footballing stars will be turning out in force to pay their tributes and two sides, Chris Kinnear’s “Reds” will tackle Clive Walker’s “Blues” to play the sport Paul loved so much.

I know many readers read this website during their lunch break, so please join me to take a moment or two out from your busy working day at 1:30pm to pay tribute to Paul.
