I'm confident we will get better and better, says Crockenhill boss Craig Clark

CROCKENHILL manager Craig Clark says he’s confident that his young side will improve.

The Crocks are enjoying a vastly improved campaign this time around and sit in the bottom four in the Pain & Glory Sports Kent Invicta League table, having collected two wins and three draws from their eleven league outings.

They were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Meridian VP last weekend and travel to eleventh-placed Rusthall tomorrow.

Clark said: “It was probably a fair result but having taken the lead we were disappointed to have switched off after scoring, allowing them to score.

“If you take out the Phoenix result our performances have improved.  We look more solid at the back and the good football we can play can break down any team.

“I have a very young team, most of the squad after under 21.  I’m confident we will get better and better and I’m looking at getting some good results from now on but we must continue working hard and playing our football.”
