Hilaire released by Margate - club launches live audio service

Monday 27th March 2006
Having brought in Gravesend & Northfleet star Lee Protheroe on loan until the end of the season, Margate manager Chris Kinnear has released Ian Hilaire.

The midfielder, who scored five goals from 32 appearances (starting 20 games), has been released from his registration at the Ryman Premier League club.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ian for his efforts whilst with us this season,” said a statement on the club’s website.

Meanwhile, if you are unable to get to Hartsdown Park for this season’s remaining games against Heybridge Swifts (Saturday), Windsor & Eton, Worthing and Hendon why not join www.margate-fc.com and Steve Wells for full match commentary via their new streaming audio service.

The programme will start at 2:55pm with a preview of the game and a run down of the teams, plus analysis of the game from a guest summariser during the match itself.

The club are also giving fans an opportunity to give their views about the match itself.
