Harry Beautyman turns Posh

Monday 24th November 2014
WELLING UNITED have confirmed that attacking midfielder Harry Beautyman has joined League One side Peterborough United.

The Hornchurch, Essex based 22-year-old departs Park View Road on loan until January when the switch will become permanent for an undisclosed fee.

Beautyman joined the Wings at the start of last season from Sutton United, for whom he caught the eye in Conference South after leaving Leyton Orient.

However, his debut season for the Wings was blighted by injury and it was only after an injury-free pre-season that Wings fans saw his true potential this campaign.

Beautyman has scored 11 goals so far this season and his energetic displays made him a popular figure at the Vanarama Conference club.

A club statement, which was posted on their website said: “Welling would like to place on record their thanks to Harry for his efforts and wish him well back in the Football League.

“Beautyman is another player to progress into the Football League in recent times from Park View Road, following the likes of Fraser Franks and Ross Lafayette, who both ply their trade for League Two Luton Town.”
