Grays unveil Kedwell signing
Nationwide Conference side Grays Athletic have completed the signing of striker Danny Kedwell on a two-year contract from managerless Welling United.
Kedwell’s transfer was confirmed on Saturday and Grays manager Justin Edinburgh will be hoping he can replicate his superb form in next season’s Blue Square Premier.
The Kent-born striker was voted Nationwide South Player of the Month three times whilst with Welling and ended the season as their top scorer with 23 goals.
He has played for Lordswood, Fisher Athletic, Tonbridge Angels, Chatham Town, Maidstone United and Herne Bay before signing for the Park View Road club two years ago.
Meanwhile, Charlie MacDonald has been selected for the England National Game XI squad to participate in the Four Nations Tournament later this month.
MacDonald finished the season as Gravesend & Northfleet’s leading goalscorer.
The Stonebridge Road club changed their name to Ebbsfleet United last week.
