FA Cup Third Qualifying Round Draw: Dover Athletic face Bromley

Monday 24th September 2012
DOVER ATHLETIC have been drawn at home to fellow Kent rivals BROMLEY in the FA Cup with Budweiser Third Qualifying Round.

Dover Athletic defeated Tonbridge Angels 2-1 at Crabble in the last round at the weekend, while Bromley came away from Sutton United with a 1-0 win, courtesy of Pierre Joseph-Dubois’ strike.

Mark Goldberg’s side reached the First Round last season when they were defeated 3-0 away to League One side Leyton Orient and have been drawn away from home for their past five ties in the competition.

Unbeaten MARGATE welcome lower-league opposition in the form of Evo-stick Southern League Division One Central side Slough Town.

MAIDSTONE UNITED, who thrashed Grays Athletic 5-0 at the weekend, travel to Essex again, when they take on East Thurrock United.

CRAY WANDERERS, who have knocked out Greenwich Borough and Thamesmead Town en-route to the penultimate qualifying round, will welcome Blue Square Bet (Conference) South side Chelmsford City to Hayes Lane.

WELLING UNITED will be at home to Ryman Premier League side Thurrock if they beat Essex side Concord Rangers in their replay at Park View Road on Wednesday night.

All winners will scoop £7,500 each in prize money.

Ties to be played on Saturday, 6 October 2012.
