East Kent College launch Kent County League team

East Kent College FC are pleased to announce a three-man management team after being accepted in to the Haart of Kent County League next season.

Luke Williams, Liam Morris and Tim Hunt have been appointed the management team for the Thanet based team.

Director of football Gary Beckett said: “I am very happy with these appointments and see this as the first step in the progression of East Kent College Football Club.

“We are here to provide football for all areas of the community.  This team will progress through the leagues quickly and I am sure these guys will bring success.”

Ex-Ryman League players Williams and Morris join former professional sportsman Hunt as a management trio under the watchful eye of Beckett.

East Kent College Football Club are rapidly expanding and forming teams across the different age groups and genders for the coming season.

Williams said: “This is a great opportunity to set the foundations for a bright football future for the Thanet community.”

Morris added: “Our long term goal is to provide football progression through various routes, e.g. coaching or playing.”

The management team will be looking at players who are prepared to show commitment to both training and playing and will only sign players who can give 100% every week.

Pre-season training starts 23 July 2013 at 7:45pm, although there may be pre-season matches and trials held before this.

Faversham Harlequin and Chislehurst based FC Elmstead have also been accepted in to the Haart of Kent County League next season.
