Allassani began his career in Crystal Palace’s Academy, where he represented England at under 16, 17 and 18 levels.

However, following a spell out through injury, Allassani worked to rebuild his career and was in scintillating form for Dulwich Hamlet last season, scoring 17 goals in 31 league games.

Dulwich Hamlet finished runners-up to Billericay Town in the Bostik Premier Division and sealed promotion following play-off wins over Leiston (1-0) and Hendon (4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw after extra time) to seal promotion into the Vanarama National League South for the first time in their 125 year history.

Coventry City manager Mark Robbins told his clubs website:  “I am delighted to secure the signing of Reise.  He is a very exciting talent, with pace, strength and goalscoring ability, who will add another attacking threat to our play.

“We have beaten several high-profile clubs to secure his signature and we are looking forward to working with him and seeing him develop with us.”

On Twitter, Allassani said: “After a fantastic season at Dulwich Hamlet it is time for me to move onto a new challenge with Coventry City.

“I’m proud to have played a part in the club achieving promotion to the National League South for the first time in the clubs history.

“I would like to thank Gav for giving me a chance when no one else would.  The staff, my team mates and of course the amazing fans.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Dulwich Hamlet and wish everyone at the club the very best for the future.”
