Dartford sign midfielder Ben Greenhalgh from Concord Rangers

Saturday 26th May 2018

DARTFORD have unveiled the signing of midfielder Ben Greenhalgh.

The 26-year-old midfielder joins the club after spending last season at Concord Rangers and has also had spells at Welling United, Inter Milan, Hemel Hempstead Town and Maidstone United.

The Darts are now managed by Adam Flanagan and Jamie Coyle, who were managers at Concord Rangers and Welling United respectively last season.

Concord Rangers are now managed by former Leatherhead boss Sammy Moore, who has made a number of summer signings, including ex-Dartford winger Ryan Hayes and ex-Bromley and ex-Leatherhead midfielder Lee Minshull.

Flanagan told www.dartfordfc.com: “We are happy he has signed for the club.  Ben is an exciting player who can play wide or central.

“He has played for Maidstone in the National League as well as Hemel and Concord at our level.

“He is a match winner, who we hope will come up with vital goals and assists.”

Dartford finished runners-up in Tony Burman’s final season in charge of the club, narrowly missing out on the Vanarama National League South title on goal difference to Havant & Waterlooville, who will be joined in the top flight by Braintree Town, who came through the play-offs.

Flanagan guided Concord Rangers to a seventeenth-place finish, while Coyle’s Welling United finished in the top ten in the Vanarana National League South last term.
