Ashford Town chairman Mr Mark Jenner has unveiled the club will play at least two new players when Sittingbourne visit The Homelands tomorrow, writes Stephen McCartney.

“This afternoon we completed the signing of two players from Birmingham City until the end of the season, both should start the game tomorrow against Sittingbourne,” he told www.ashfordtownfc.co.uk.

“One is a striker, the other is a centre back, both of whom have played regular first team football for Birmingham this season and are full time professionals.”

He added: “Want to know more? Come to the game tomorrow!

“We have also signed a striker from Cray Wanderers as cover as we still have ten games to play in four weeks, plus the cup semi-final.”

One thing for certain, however, is Ashford Town will play Bromley at The Homelands in the semi-finals of the Kent Senior Cup following tonight’s draw.
