One of the most respected coaches in Kent football, Clive Walker is returning to his home-town club Chatham Town, writes Stephen McCartney.

But before fans of his new club, Ashford Town start panicking that they’ve lost their new manager before his first game in charge at The Homelands, Walker is returning to Maidstone Road to run Soccer Schools.

Chatham Town invites boys and girls aged 6-14 to take part in a Soccer School that they are running during the summer.

Walker, who guided Dover Athletic to the Ryman League Division One South play-off’s for the past two season’s, is a UEFA A qualified coach and was also a professional footballer, making over 400 Football League appearances.

Clive runs many successful Soccer Schools in the UK and in the USA and current players and coaches will be assisting him.

The schools will be held at Chatham Town Football Club, Maidstone Road during Monday 6th August - Friday 10th August and Monday 13th August - Friday 17th August, at a cost of £35.

Kids are asked to provide a packed lunch and a football if possible.
