Chipstead secure groundshare deal at their Isthmian League neighbours Sevenoaks Town
CHIPSTEAD will be playing their home games at Sevenoaks Town’s Greatness Park this season.
The Kent County League Division One West side have secured a deal with Sevenoaks Town’s chairman Paul Lansdale to play on the artificial pitch at the home of their Isthmian League South East Division neighbours.
“We would like to thank Paul Lansdale and his committee for giving us the opportunity to use their facilities for the coming 2021-22 season,” said Chipstead chairman Alan Black.
“The playing surface is immaculately maintained and must rank as one of the best around.
“Subject to the Government and The FA lifting of Covid restrictions, we look forward to welcoming our supporters and opposition teams to this superb venue.”
Chipstead are among 12 teams in the Kent County League Division One West this coming season and replace Ide Hill as the Oaks’ tenants.
There are two Chipstead Football Clubs, the other one plays in Surrey and compete in the Isthmian League South Central Division, which is the same level that Sevenoaks Town play, the ninth-tier of English football.
