Carl Richards' son plays for Bromley's second string

Bromley reserves returned to Kent League Division One action last week and defeated Erith & Belvedere 3-1 despite being weakened by first team call-ups for Giovanni Marino, James Parker and Job Feumba.With former Bromey striker Carl Richards' son Christian in their line-up, Andy Silk's side went into the break with a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal from midfielder Adam Greenaway.

Richards played for the Hayes Lane club during George Wakeling's first spell at Hayes Lane.

James Kerkshaw's strike entended Bromley's lead in the second half before Greenaway made things safe with a penatly.

The Deres pulled a goal back with five minutes remaining but it proved to be nothing ore than a consolation.
