Bromley launch new main stand regeneration plans for Hayes Lane
BROMLEY chairman Robin Stanton-Gleaves has revealed plans for the regeneration of the main stand at Hayes Lane.
The plans have been designed to improve the current function of the stand while also providing much-needed office space for club staff, a brand new reception area and club shop, improved spectator seating, an extended roof to cover all seating and a dedicated supporters’ first aid room.
In addition to dramatically improving the visual appearance and setting of the stadium that was first opened in 1938, there will also be significant upgrades to the existing first-team facilities and match day areas in order to future proof them and bring them up to Football League standard.
“These plans demonstrate our commitment to taking the steps necessary in order to continue the clubs progress both on and off the pitch,” said Stanton-Gleaves in a statement on the club website.
“I hope supporters will back our plans and voice their support for the application.”
Bromley are in eighth-place in the Vanarama National League table and welcome Wrexham to Hayes Lane on Saturday (15:00).
