We still need points to be safe, says Tonbridge Angels boss Steve McKimm

TONBRIDGE ANGELS boss Steve McKimm says he wants to take their good Easter form going into their last three league games.

The Angels are in eighteenth-place in the Ryman Premier League table with 47 points from 43 games and are three points clear of the drop zone.

Witham Town, who came up with VCD Athletic as play-off winners last season, arrive at Longmead Stadium sitting in the bottom three with 42 points from their 43 league outings.

The Angels then travel to fourteenth-placed Billericay Town in their penultimate game of the season, before fourth-placed Dulwich Hamlet visit Longmead Stadium on the final day of the season.

At least four points should ensure the club avoid back-to-back relegations.

“We had a well-deserved three points against Hornchurch, where Nathan Elder was superb,” said McKimm.

“At Margate, on Monday, I freshened it up with a couple of players coming in with Charlie Webster and Dee Okojie playing very well.

“All in all, four points out of six was a good return.

“Witham will be a tough game and we still need points to be safe.”
