Malin returns to Slade Green

GO TRAVEL Kent League club Slade Green have announced Terry Malin has returned to the club to rekindle his managerial partnership with Phil Miles, writes Stephen McCartney.

Malin originally resigned last October after voicing his disagreements with the committee at the Small Glen outfit regarding certain internal affairs within the club.

However, following several weeks of deliberation between himself and Miles, the duo are relishing the challenge of once again working together and hopefully helping the club bounce back from last season's disastrous campaign.

Their appointment was rubber stamped by club chairman Brain Smith a month ago and officially confirmed to the club's committee shortly afterwards at the club's AGM.

Peter Little and Robert Nelson will continue as coaches, while Graham Barber will once again carry out the position of physio.

Slade Green have announced six pre-season friendly matches:
24 July  (a)  Cray Valley  -  2 games, first team and reserves - 2pm
31 July  (h) Tilbury  -  3pm
3 August (h) Erith & Belvedere - 7.15pm
5 August (h) Cray Wanderers - 7.15pm
7 August (a) Basildon United - 3pm
10 August (a) Brentwood -  7.15pm
