Greenwich Borough keep low summer profile

Even though pre season has been quiet at Harrow Meadow, Greenwich Borough were handed a home game against VCD Athletic on the opening day of the Go Travel Kent League Premier Division season, writes Stephen McCartney.

The Eltham based outfit will then make the short trip to Beckenham Town on Tuesday 12 August (7.30pm) before they travel to Deal Town on Saturday 16 August.

Whitstable Town visit Harrow Meadow for another Kent League game on Saturday 23 August, which is when the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup gets underway featuring Erith Town, VCD Athletic, Tunbridge Wells, Ramsgate, Lordswood and Cray Wanderers.
