Stones add highly-rated wing-back to their squad

Maidstone United have secured the services of a second player from their Kentish Observer League rivals, Beckenham Town, writes Stephen McCartney.

Having signed Mario Celaire earlier in the close season, they have added talented, highly-rated, nippy, 20-year-old, wing-back Nathan Paul to their squad.

Paul had been coveted by several other clubs but has put pen to paper on a one-year contract, which has pleased Stones coach Alan Walker.

He told www.maidstoneunited.co.uk "We have made a quality signing in Nathan Paul.

"I am sure that he can go on and achieve great things in the game at a much higher level than the Kent League."

Meanwhile, the Stones have arranged a game at Faversham Town on 4th August (7:45pm).
