On Sunday, March 14th, Dr Martens League Eastern Division club Erith & Belvedere are holding a prestige friendly match at their groundshare home of Park View Road, bringing together old favourites from the Deres, Welling United and Charlton Athletic, to officially open the new stand..

A combined Deres/Wings team under the leadership of Harry Richardson and Graham Hobbins will take on Brian Kinsey's Charlton Vets side.

Among the ex-Welling players already confirmed are Phil Handford, Duncan Horton, Nigel Ransom, Tony Reynolds, Stuart White, plus, provisionally ITV pundit Andy Townsend.

Due to a family bereavement the Erith side is still to be named.

The stand will be officially opened by the Mayor of Bexley, Cllr Denis Daniels.
