Second string players sign up for next season

THREE former Bromley youth team players have pledged their immediate future to the reserve team at Erith & Belvedere after winning the Second Division title  of the Go Travel Kent League last season, writes Stephen McCartney.

Edwin Mante, Nigel Pearce and Steve Lee have joined Neil Murray, Richard Masters, Paul Volke, Tony Dalkin, Sam Whittington, Lee Sugden, Chris Dickson and Danny Parmenter in signing up for next season's Division One campaign.

It is hoped that two more players will agree to stay over the next couple of days.  That will mean thirteen of last seasons squad will remain with four or five new signings being made.

However, one player has already agreed to join from a local rival but no names are available.

The squad will return to pre-season training on Thursday 1st July and it is hoped that at least three new faces will be present for the first session.

The club aim to bring a third member to join the management team as assistant manager as the whole club has been boosted with the appointment of Barry Lakin as first team manager at the Park View Road outfit.
