Dartford fans look to impress their heroes in fundraiser

Dartford fans have the chance to show their skills in a game against their heroes next month, writes Stephen McCartney.

The pay to play game against the Darts' first team has now been arranged for Saturday 16th July at the Dartford show and will be played at some point between 1-3pm, at a cost of £15 per person.

The Southern League Division One East team will be having a training session in the morning before first team assistant manager, Paul Sawyer brings them down to the show to play against their loyal fans.

"I now need to know how many supporters are definitely interested in playing so I can work out how many games we'll need to play, so that everyone gets a game, so the players don't waste their time coming to the show only to find out that the game won't go ahead due to not enough interest being shown by us supporters," wrote the organiser on www.dartfordfootballclub.co.uk

Interested parties are invited to post their name on the website but only if you are willing to pay money to play in a five-a-side game against the club's first team players.

All money raised will go to the club.
