Hudson agrees to stay at Dartford

DARTFORD goalkeeper Kevin Hudson has been in talks with manager Tony Burman in recent days and the outcome is good news for Darts' supporters, writes Stephen McCartney.

The vastly experienced stopper, who joined the club from Maidstone United last November, has agreed to remain with the Southern League Division One East club for the new season.

However, Danny Heale has left the club by "mutual agreement" and has joined Essex League side AFC Hornchurch.

"We would like to thank Danny for his efforts whilst with us and to wish him every success with his new club," said the club via their website.

Burman captured 24-year-old midfielder Ryan Briggs earlier in the week from local rivals, Erith & Belvedere.

Briggs, who spent the last two seasons at the Park View Road club, making 99 appearances, makes a return to the Darts having played for the club earlier in his career.
