Daish is feeling fine over Skinner's new contract

GRAVESEND & NORTHFLEET are pleased to announce that last season's players' player of the year Justin Skinner has signed a new one-year part-time contract with the Stonebridge Road club, writes Stephen McCartney.

Speaking about the former Wimbledon full-back, Fleet boss Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "He comes from that background of Wimbledon where you had to be a pretty tough character and he's a good strong character."

And Daish revealed he is feeling FINE about Skinner signing a part-time contract with the Nationwide Conference club that are going full-time in time for their league campaign, which gets underway on Saturday 13th August.

"His teammates won't thank me for fining him again because he runs the fine book. " he revealed.

"He's there all the time, he doesn't miss a trick, he'll get money off the lads for the fines so he's a good, solid pro and you'll always know what you are going to get off him."
